Stop Motion

In the past few weeks we started our stop motion film and today we finally finished it. It is really really fun being in this terms hurumanu. I enjoyed a lot, making characters and painting. My favourite part in this hurumanu is making the characters, it was so fun and also I really really like art because I like drawing. The most difficult is being with people in the other class and sometimes they don't do work they are just playing around being silly so we got behind. Anyway I'm still happy that we done the film even though it doesn't have sound it still looks cool!!

Write a definition, upload an image and list where these fossil fuels are mined.

1. Coal- Coal is a hard rock which can be burned as a solid fossil fuel. It's mostly carbon with variable amounts of other elements; chiefly hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen.

Also China Is the country that has 70% coal production.

2. Oil- A vicious liquid from petroleum for use as a fuel or lubricant.

Solar - Solar power/panel a gadget that get electricity from the sun. Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam.

Wind - A windmill is a structure that converts the energy of wind into. It spins windmills usually were used to mill grain, pump water, or both there is also one that convert energy.

Waves -  Wave power is is the capture of energy of wind  to do useful work – for example, electricity generation, water desalination, or pumping water.

Hydro - Hydro power or hydroelectricity refers to the conversion of energy from flowing water into electricity. It is considered a renewable energy source because the water cycle is constantly renewed by the sun.

Write a 6 sentence reflection about what you have learnt about Climate Change and how it is going to affect us.  

  have learnt that there's lots of changes happening to the world and how it's affecting our world. I have seen that some animals will die to the cause of this climate change like Bats and some animals that can't live without cold weather. I have also learnt that if the ice melts in countries like Antarctica and Arctic, the ice would melt into water and will straightly go to the ocean and will cause sea levels to rise up which might cause to cover some of our land. Climate change also cause storms which will destroy some of our city's.

Water Cycle

Hello readers today in our science we were doing climate change we had to search the definition of the water cycle words .

1. Precipitation - Action or process of precipitating a substance from a solution.

2. Hurricanes - A storm with a violent wind, cyclone.

3. Acid Rain - he action or process of making or becoming acidic.

4. Evaporation - Process of turning liquid into vapour.

5. Carbon Dioxide - Colourless, odourless gas produced by burning carbon and organic compounds and by respiration.

6. Water - liquid that forms the seas, lakes, rivers, and rain and is the basis of the fluids of living organisms.

What affect is this having on climate change? Global warming is projected to have a number of effects on the oceans. Ongoing effects include rising sea levels due to thermal expansion and melting of glaciers and ice sheets, and warming of the ocean surface, leading to increased temperature stratification.

Hurumanu Art Writing

Today in our Hurumanu art we finished our writing. This is the writing that is same as the clay that we were doing.

Manaakitanga

In 2019 term 2 week 1 ‘ Lunch time’ . Ashton went to the cafe. It was hot outside the building, then when Ashton was next he asked if  they still have a juicy to buy, then the seller take out 1 juicy in the box and gave it to Ashton. Then Ashton took out his money on his pocket. After he gave his money to the cashier the cashier realized that he only got a dollar. Vin was on the ATM and withdrawing money. Then Vin overheard that Ashton doesn’t have enough money then he came and shaid to the cashier to make that two and paid for the juicy. when Ashton is about to go out but then he saw Jullien buying a juicy and then Ashton came up to me and said don’t worry I have other one, then Ashton gave it to Jullien and then Jullien saw Zack buying a Juicy but Zack didn’t have enough money so Jullien gave Zack five dollars.

In term 2 2019 it was lunch and it hot outside the school cafe. Four people were going to the cafe and it was Ashton, Vin, Jullien and Zack. They were going to buy something cold to refresh and relax their self in the library soft chairs. When they were going to lone up they saw a guy buyed a cold food called a juicy. When Ashton was next he asked if they sell juicy. But suddenly he realised that he only have a dollar.

When Aston realised that he only had a dollar he was nervous that the cafe seller might get angry. Ashton felt embarrassed and sad because half of the people on the cafe was looking at him. Vin withdraw 10$ in the ATM and as he was walking he saw Lots of people looking at Ashton. Vin came to Ashton and ask what was the problem, Ashton told Vin the problem that he wants to buy a juicy but he doesn't have enough money to get one. 

After a few seconds Vin opened his wallet and took half of the 10$ that he withdraw. Then Vin said to Ashton here take this 5$, Ashton thanked Vin for being kind and for the money. After Ashton got the money from Vin and he payed the juicy that he wanted to buy. Ashton got his change and he was walking towards the library but then he also saw Jullien having trouble just like what happened to Ashton. Then Ashton came up to Jullien andgave his change to Jullien then Jullien Thanked Ashon for being kind, after he got the juicy then  they both went to the library.

Hurumanu Art

Hello readers, today I will be telling you everything we did in our Hurumanu art. We had been doing our clay characters and we also did some writing about our story. Today we were doing doing clay and we needed to get it one by the end of the period because next week we will be doing the stop motion.

Ashton was working on the painting while Me, Zack, Vin were working on the clay, we made 3 characters. This is the photo we did.

C.I.P Whole Term

This term in our C.I.P we did something about kindness. I participated on gym sports but I lost my P.E gear so I just stayed in our C.I.P. I learned a lot about kindness in this C.I.P we did a lot of blog post and my favourite is the letter we made, we also did a letter to Ms. Flores, All the year 7/8's that has ESOL gathered together and wrote their name and a message in the letter because Ms. Flores was away for a long time and I hope she liked it. Today and last week we are doing a colouring competition for the 3 school, we did poster and letter to paper plus, subway and more... This is the photo of poster that me and Alex did.

Next C.I.P I want is drawing because I really really like drawing, It is really my favourite thing to do when I'm bored. This is the photo of the poster me and Alex made.
