I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Today in C.I.P we started planning and deciding if we could do a colouring competition. We were asked to do a blog post about it so they can make a decision about it. Our group decided to have 3 pictures to colour in by participants and there will be age group.
My opinion is: It would be awesome if we could have a colouring competition because other people like colouring, it's fun and it's relaxing and maybe we could ask if they can donate us for the best drawer. I think it will awesome if it would run for 3 days so other people can participate if they didn't come on the first day.
Today in our C.I.P our teacher did some discussion about needs to survive. We had to make a DLO about things you need and things you want and this is My DLO that I made today.
This is my ''Jikoshokai'' in Japanese. We had been doing stuff like knowing what your age, how to ask whats your name, were do you live, what your phone number and more... Also we learned a lot in our Japanese. We wrote this because we have to do a Mihi about us in Japanese language.
For the past weeks we’ve been doing Hurumanu Music and blogging.
My favourite part was doing the decade music, 1900’s to 2010’s. I liked it because we had to partner someone from the other class ‘‘Tz’’. Also the Garage band same as the decade music but 3 people and we got to do other cool instrument.
For the other ones we did biography about solo singers and bands we had to research about them. Also we did a blog post about ASMR, "ASMR is triggered by things like whispering voices, paper tearing, and scalp massage", and we also learned some other instruments like French Horn and more…
I learned a lot in our Hurumanu Music. We had to learn some different musicians and the thing I don’t like about is We had to do a lot of blogging like in Science.
This time I have achieved ‘’I ask for help when I don’t understand what to do’’ and ‘’I am a curious learner - I ask questions’’ also ‘’I can be trusted to use my device for the task I am meant to be doing’’. Next time on our new Hurumanu I will be focused on those goals that I haven’t achieved.
Today we watched a video about kindness. There was a old lady with 2 children and it was their grandfathers birth day and they got all the special foods they need for their grandfather, after that the the old lady's daughter found a something and her mother said I I know you want something special for grandfather, Then the girl quickly went to the cake cabinets and a man grab it and gave it to her. Then they went to the counter and they saw all the price was 84$ then the boy counted all the money they have and it was not enough to buy the cake, the old lady said can we return the cake and then the old lady's daughter said why won't we get the cake for grandfather and her grandmother told her next time we just don't have enough money to bu it then the girl said but you always say next time.
Then the man who grabbed the cake for the girl paid for the cake and ran up to them and said to the girl hey this is for you I know you wanted it and said can you give me a promise the promise is when someone help you then you help them too. Her grandmother said ca we get your phone number, then the guy wrote a message in the paper and said 'Someone buyed me a cake when I was a kid and It was my birthday and said I'm the man in the Queue
