Athletics Day

Yesterday, we had our Athletics all people in hornby primary we did our sprint first after morning tea. We're the last one who race year 6 boys when I was on the track I'm getting ready for my sprint and Mr. Martin clap the wood thing for races and when We're running Axle is coming up fist and Joshua is coming second and Sam was third and I came 4 and then the first second and third had a sprint again and Axle won again.

After lunch time after we ate we went to the court for our athletics rotation. We went to rest area first and I was watching the high jump to see how high they can jump then Mrs. Tash  ring the bell and we went to shot put and the 10 year old's tried first and then the 11's Lasa trow the longest and Axle was second and I was third in 11's. After we finish the shot put we went to the rest area again. 20 minutes earlier Mrs. Tash ring the bell and we went to discus we all lined up and trow then they plit the bad side and the good side then all 10's always first and Mrs. Tash ring the bell and Mrs. Scott said will do it tomorrow at launch time.

After we went to High jump and Mr. Martin said that you know what side you jump Mr. Martin put the thing in 40 cm Then It's my turn I run fast and jump then it goes higher then higher and then I didn't do it because it to high I jumped 1 m and  I touch the thing and I didn't do it anymore Mrs. Tash ring the bell, we went to long jump In my jump I got 2m.1cm and the other's  have like 2m.5cm.

Hi (Kumusta and Magandang umaga’),(‘Hello and Good morning’) my name is Jullien and I’m a filipino and I’m gonna tell you about golden eagle like we’re they live, how long that they will be alive? How long their are and what kind of animals they kill, be ready because it might blow your minds.

Golden eagles are live in high place golden eagles are dark brown their wings is ranging from 66 to 102 cm (26 to 40 in) in length and from 1.8 to 2.38 m (5 ft 11 in to 7 ft 8 in). I think golden eagles are bigger than baby.

Golden eagles use their speed and sharp talons to snatch up rabbits, marmots and ground squirrel. They also eat carrion, reptiles, other birds, fish, and smaller fare such as large insects, and they can stop a reindeer. Golden eagles hate  snakes like king cobra, anaconda, and black mamba. sometimes snakes Kill eagle and sometimes eagle wins, Eagle are prey grey Eagle are prey grey falcons, bald eagles, and raptors.

These powerful bird is North America's largest bird of prey and the national bird of Mexico. These birds are dark brown, with lighter golden-brown plumage on their heads and necks. They are extremely swift, and can dive upon their quarry at speeds of more than 150 miles per hour. In conclusion golden eagles are bigger than deer and tiger.

For centuries, this species has been one of the most highly regarded birds used in falconry, with the Eurasian subspecies having been used to hunt and kill prey such as gray wolves Canis lupus in some native communities. My opinion is how golden eagles fly high and kill other bird preys.

How to be Safe on Water

This Friday is the last day of our Swimming. We are learning to jump to the big pool. we have to jump to plat form like we're i n the sea, after we jump we swim on our back to the end of the pool. My goal before is to free style 1 lap without stopping then now I can do it now without stopping in the big pool.

Also they teach us how to be safe on beach or ocean, river, and lake. First thing we need to do if someones struggling and your in the boat and you trow a object like a rope or something then you pull the person that struggling the person will full you out and two person will struggling so when you pull a person that's struggling you need to put your 1 knee down and the other one is up. Then the second thing to survive if you are struggling in the water first thing you need to do is take out your T-shirt because its heavy  to float then the second thing is wave your arm or do a backstroke on your back to survived and that's it guys I really really hope you learn how to be safe on water and how to survive. First Swimming lesson

This term, term 4 we started swimming in Canterbury Swim School. We needed to take a bus, I was sitting with Axle, and Vann, after we take a bus we take out our shoes off and line up. After we line up we went to the changing room to change and once we change we sit in the steps and they said the earth quake drills,  they said if we're in the water and theirs earthquake  we need to gab the line quickly and if were not in the water we need to hide under the steps, then they called out our groups the I felt excited when where in the big pool we starts swimming my goal is to learnt 1 lap without stopping then the other class went in and change ,after they change they ask my class to change and put our socks on and shoes. When were in the bus I'm sitting with my friend Jared and lined up to go to the classroom.

Holes Character Collection

This week I have been doing a Holes Character Collection, we have 4 activities to choose, I choose the character collection and this is my clay model. Time for Making Slime

Today we earned our marble jar because were sitting beautifully and our voice is not loud when we are taking. At term 1 we have a Ice Cream at term 2 we have lolly cakes and now term 3 we earned a hundred marble again so we chose slime, we have to have a 4 groups but were allowed to work in 5 groups I'm working with Vann, Axle, Khush, and Joshua.

 

The piano

I was sitting by myself with my big old spot piano. I played and I remember a lot of memory a sad song and then I heard the piano went different. Then I  remembered my wife playing piano with me, she give me a memory so felt sad, then she kiss me on the cheek.

I remembered before I'm a soldier red cross, were in the middle of war, covering in the big wall my friend to me to attack suddenly the bullet of  enemy went to his head and I pulled into the wall to covered him and help, I help him but the his head is bleeding and bleeding, he said to me to retreat so I surrendered.

I also remembered my gift to my son, a horse toy, he ride for a minute and he went to me and play with the piano he press the one and  I press the one and that's the end of the story.

Hornby Extravaganza

This term 3, before we performed in Wednesday and Thursday we practice really hard work really hard for our Extravaganza. We have been waiting for our hornby extravaganza, and make really hard for painting and cutting and drawing. If were practising our performance and when we did it wrong we will do it again and again and again after we perfect that the next group will go. My group is How bizarre and my role was ride in the car it will happened in Hornby high auditorium Wednesday and Thursday. We have doing this for four weeks and this is the day that were performing in high school auditorium. The I see red group performed first and next is chains group, slice of heaven, sway group, and my group, we don't know how lucky we are group anyway forget that after  the last group the gutter black we went all in the stage and sing the why is love do this to me.

Barnette  and the second is, Mac Brazel. When Mac Brazel show the meta that he found on his ranch he thought is was from the flying saucer after they start to report UFO in 1940s. Cultural Dance

This term we have been looking at different cultures for the last 3 weeks we have learn a other cultures. Yesterday the year 4's, 5's and 6's performed a dance. The year 5's performed a Samoan dance a Sa'sa and the year 6 and 4  boys doing the Christchurch Super Haka then the 6, 4 girls are doing the Ti Rakau sticks. Trip to Spencer Park

Last Friday Ako Ngatahi travelled to Spencer Park. Then the other class in Hornby

Primary School to have some fun. We split into four group. My group was no 4. When Joshua and I were laughing in the bus we saw a helicopter.

When we are in the Spencer park we split to the four groups and we go first in the playground Lasa,  Jared and Aisa are passing the rugby ball.

After that we had go to the beach to collect some treasure to make a design. I saw a Blue Bottle Jellyfish but I didn’t touch it. We ate our morning tea.

Next we went to lagoon walk and we saw a lot of spider webs and birds. The birds had long legs, long neck the colour is the one is black and the white. I was tired when I was walking in the lagoon walk.

We went back to eat our lunch near the playground. After we ate our lunch we played basketball with South Hornby Primary School. In my team there was Vann, Mikayla, Aisa , Joshua and Mrs. Scott said we gonna go into our spot to and go get our bags and we line up to go into the bus. Axle, Vann and Joshua sitting in the bus.

One day I was playing Play station 4,

my Mum came she was carrying a box then Mum put it on the table. mum open the curtains and then it was present, there was a call then while holding the phone she suggested for me to go outside. I open it and there was came a puppy he have black nose  and a saw her legs three because the other one is cut and I kick it and he saw a ball he played it and I kick the ball and he get it in the box and he did know where he going and he bump on the wall until he get out and he run to me and give the ball and I get the ball I said he is funny even has three legs I like him I said to mum "We going outside." By mum I’m going outside with the fluffy dog to play with him.

Learning Goals

This term my teachers showed me my learning goals. If you don't know what learning goal are they're basically goals that I have to complete and show to my parents, so last Tuesday my mum went to a meeting between her and the teachers. They may take a couple of weeks to finish. Now I'm working hard
