Gymnastics

It's been a while since I blogged about P.E. So today I will be making one, Hi Kumusta, In P.E we have been doing gymnastics. I tried to do a 360 turn on the beam but I ended up just doing 180 over a cone.

I also did tuck jump, straddle and 360 turn.

The hardest activity I wanted to do was to do a 360 jump over a cone in the beams, because if I make a mistake I would probably hurt myself. 

Drill Gauge

In our CMM technology for the past few weeks we have been making a grill gauge, we have been working on this project for about 7 weeks now and it was a very very experience using other machines that I didn't know how to use. First thing we did was did a mock-up on tinker cad, then coppied the design on aluminium.

For this project we used: Tinker cad, Acrylic, Aluminium and tools like file, drill and more.

Maori

Hi, today at Maori we talked about pounamu green stones, the first stone Mr. Matthew talked about was the one he was wearing outside his long sleeve, It was like an beek and when you turn it around it also looks the same and the one he was wearing inside was like a teardrop and has a spiral sign and he said you only get it from University of Canterbury. He showed us more stones others is like a big fish hook and he also talked about people before they make a knife, axe and more weapons.

Environmental Issue

Kumusta, Today I will be doing a blog post about Environmental issue. all of us were asked to make a game or a story or do it with sphero. Lot of us used Gamefroot because it fun making games and some were on on the sphero's. I choose Environmental issue because I don't want to see the environment die so I made a game so we can stop this from happening. I think this is the worst issue because a lot of people can be affected.

Freak The Mighty

Today our class started a new book 'I was put on a nook called freak the mighty. We were asked to answer the questions first before we start this book.

1. Based on the front cover and title ONLY what do you predict this book might be about? I think this book is about dragons and knights. 
2. If something is described as ‘mighty’, what do you think that means? Strong
3. Describe the difference between being a ‘bystander’ and an ‘out stander’. A bystander is a person who just watches something happen and a person who or thing which outstands.
4. Read the back of the book, what do you predict this story is about? Slaying dragon

Trough chapter 1 to 3 there's a guy that were named kevin and he likes robot and he use long words to make himself look like smart guy and there's a boy he meet at the daycare that's doesn't have a brain what I mean is he has an empty brain head. then when kevin knew max was his neighbour they started to get known each other.

War horse

Kumusta, Today I finished my novel study war horse, we've been doing this since last term but I didn't finish it and now I finally finished it It was very very cool book It's a man and a horse show the truest friendship.

My Character traits

Feed back please!!!

This week we have to do a blog post about Character traits, me and my group are reading a new novel it's called Among the Hidden. This is my work that I had done it's a piece of work for feed back, i'm showing you Luke from Among the Hidden now we're doing finding some more details for character traits and we're about to read chapter 8 to chapter 10 the author of the book is Margaret Peterson.

3D Shape Nets

This week we had given another strategy it's called 3D Shape Nets. If you watch the video tell me if it's wrong I don't  know if I did it right I hope you enjoyed and learn something BYE!!!

First Swimming lesson

This term, term 4 we started swimming in Canterbury Swim School. We needed to take a bus, I was sitting with Axle, and Vann, after we take a bus we take out our shoes off and line up. After we line up we went to the changing room to change and once we change we sit in the steps and they said the earth quake drills,  they said if we're in the water and theirs earthquake  we need to gab the line quickly and if were not in the water we need to hide under the steps, then they called out our groups the I felt excited when where in the big pool we starts swimming my goal is to learnt 1 lap without stopping then the other class went in and change ,after they change they ask my class to change and put our socks on and shoes. When were in the bus I'm sitting with my friend Jared and lined up to go to the classroom.
